Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Palm Bay, FL seeks a Manufacturing Tool Designer to develop tooling for electronics manufacturing, MGSE, and space systems. You will produce detailed Creo models, drawings, BOMs, and documentation, applying GD&T and ASME standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 2+ years of related experience; or 0–2 years with graduate degree.
• Experience in CAD software: Creo preferred; other tools listed acceptable.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and drawing release using PDM/PLM systems.
• Familiarity with ASME Y14.5/Y14.100 drafting standards.
• Experience with materials and hardware, and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop tooling, fixtures, and parts using Creo.
• Create CAD assemblies, detailed drawings, BOMs, and documentation.
• Coordinate with Design Engineers and manufacturing teams for tooling needs.
• Maintain drawing updates, releases, and configuration control in PDM.
• Assist with tool assembly, design integration, and issue resolution.
