Job summary

DESE Research, Inc. seeks mid-level to senior Mechanical and Tooling Design Engineers with space hardware experience to support aerospace vehicle programs in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

You will design tooling for manufacturing, ground support, and test operations, and produce 2D drawings and 3D models in PTC Creo per ASME Y14.5. You will manage data in Windchill PLM, ensuring configuration control and data integrity, while collaborating with customer engineering teams to mature

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, or manufacturing engineering.
• Hands-on mechanical design experience on space hardware or related tooling.
• Proficient in PTC Creo with 2D/3D modeling and drawing creation.
• Experience with Windchill PLM for data management and change control.
• Familiarity with ASME Y14.5 and GD&T practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and document tooling for manufacturing, ground support, and test operations for space hardware.
• Create and redline 2D drawings and 3D models in Creo per ASME Y14.5.
• Manage CAD data and product structures in Windchill PLM with change workflows.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams and maintain data integrity.
