Job summary

Blue Origin's Honeybee Robotics unit in Colorado develops advanced motion control solutions for NASA, defense, and commercial programs. You will participate in architecture, design, test, and manufacturing of motion control products, collaborating with engineering teams to meet performance goals and flight readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience in electronics for regulated industries.
• In-depth understanding of motors, gearing, feedback and commutation sensors, and motion control methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience delivering functional hardware on schedule.
• Experience with design analysis and simulation using Matlab/Simulink.

Responsibilities

• Architect closed-loop control systems incorporating motors, sensors, structures and drive electronics.
• Synthesize and define interfaces between multiple engineering disciplines.
• Present technical content to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and support on test requirements and verification methods.
