Job summary
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a qualified engineer to perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and related analyses for total systems. The role supports concept through disposal, translating customer requirements into hardware and software specifications while considering schedule, cost, and risk.
Candidates must hold an engineering degree, possess an active Secret clearance (US citizenship required) and be able to work in a closed area.
Qualifications
- Engineer with an engineering or technical background required.
- Active Secret Clearance required prior to start and ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance
- US Citizenship required
- Ability to work in a closed area.
Responsibilities
- Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
- Translates customer requirements into hardware and software specifications, considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies.
