Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the design and implementation of efficient manufacturing systems for space vehicle production on the Space Coast, FL. The role emphasizes quality control and optimization of supply chain logistics within Production/Operations.

You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to reduce costs and improve timelines while ensuring compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

  • BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering.
  • 1+ years of experience creating English work instructions.
  • U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Industrialize new tank assemblies including welding, inspection, proof test, surface coatings, and integration.
  • Translate engineering requirements into robust, repeatable manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with design, quality, supply chain, and production to accelerate space vehicle production.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation such as work instructions and process diagrams.
  • Evaluate new manufacturing technologies and methods to improve reliability and performance.
  • Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
