Job summary

SEAKR Engineering in Centennial, Colorado, seeks an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to physically assemble, hand-solder, and integrate high-reliability spaceflight hardware. The role centers on mechanical and electrical assembly, including component prep, PCB mounting, wire harnessing, and precision hand-soldering under a microscope; no testing is required.

Candidates should have 5+ years in high-precision soldering and box builds, IPC J-STD-001 Space Addendum cert or eligible within 30

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in high-precision soldering, electronic box builds, crimping for avionics wiring and mechanical chassis assembly.
• Solder certifications to IPC J-STD-001 Space Addendum required or to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts into subassemblies using hand tools and soldering iron.
• Use voltmeters, scales, fixtures, bench tools, and soldering equipment.
• Operate under a stereo microscope.
• Read and follow process instructions and drawings.
• Inspect and ensure assemblies meet specifications.
• Adhere to Safety, 5S, FOD, and ESD policies.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals.
