Job summary

Mb Solutions, Inc. seeks an Electronic Component Engineer to support NASA GFE flight projects and programs. You will evaluate EEE parts, analyze hardware criticality and environmental suitability, and report findings to the EEE Parts Control Board. You will help replace parts as needed and assist in failure investigations.

The role requires experience with NSPAR development, NASA advisories, and detailed PCB-related documentation, with strong collaboration across project teams.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5–10 years of related experience.
• Experience interfacing regularly with NASA customers and coordinating team assignments.
• Experience in design reviews, product development, and component selection for space-flight applications.
• Experience with procurement specifications, source control drawings, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide EEE parts support for NASA GFE Flight Projects and Programs.
• Evaluate proposed EEE parts lists for hardware criticality and environmental suitability.
• Report findings to the PCB and recommend replacement parts as needed.
• Assist in EEE parts failure investigations and NSPAR development.
• Review NASA specifications, standards, and studies for applicable applications.
• Support qualification plans, screening, and NSPAR processes.
