Job summary

Columbus Technologies and Services, Inc. is seeking a senior professional to manage procurement of spaceflight electrical, electronic, electro-mechanical and electro-optical parts (EEEE) for NASA projects in Greenbelt, MD.

The role requires fifteen years of experience in high-reliability space parts selection, familiarity with NASA GSFC/DoD/ESA standards, and the ability to lead parts control discussions and supplier communications. Travel up to 10% may be needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 15 years in a high-reliability space parts selection role.
• Experience with NASA/DoD/ESA/AEC standards and vendor drawings.
• Knowledge of space environment effects on reliability.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Interface with design engineers and vendors to select EEEE parts.
• Chair PCB meetings and review parts lists for compliance.
• Define procurement requirements and manage post-procurement evaluations.
• Coordinate kitting and delivery for flight and non-flight kits.
• Travel up to 10% domestically/internationally.
