Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is hiring a Data Architect and Solutions Engineer to lead enterprise, scalable data solutions for national security space customers. You will design data-centric architectures, deploy cloud-native applications, and guide AI-enabled data management across on-prem and cloud environments.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in software/data architecture, strong leadership, and experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, AWS or Azure. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, data engineering, or data architecture.
• Design and implement data-intensive cloud-native applications using Python, C/C++, Java.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native development using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm.
• Familiarity with AI data management, governance, and modern cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with national security customers to deliver data architectures.
• Provide advanced data architecture designs and engineering solutions for space programs.
• Lead development of resilient data platforms and scalable solutions.
• Manage large data volumes with innovative data platforms.
• Coordinate with multi-functional teams to deploy prototypes on cloud infrastructure.
