Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Data Architect and Solutions Engineer to lead, innovate, and build next-generation, enterprise, scalable data solutions. The role is 100% onsite and based in El Segundo, CA, Colorado Springs, CO, or Chantilly, VA, working with national security space customers and DoD partners.

You will design data architectures, manage data volumes, and guide multi-functional teams to deploy cloud-based solutions, with a focus on AI-ready data management systems and modern

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, data engineering, software and data architecture development, or similar technical specializations.
• Strong technical leadership acumen and experience.
• Proficient in designing, developing, and implementing data-intensive cloud-native applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with National Security Space, US Space Force, and DoD customers.
• Provide advanced data architecture and engineering designs for the space enterprise.
• Lead development of resilient data architectures, platforms, and solutions for current and future information systems.
• Support customers by managing rapidly growing data volumes with innovative data platforms.
• Lead and collaborate with multi-functional teams to deploy prototypes and enterprise apps using public and private cloud.
