Job summary

Cowboy Space Corp. is seeking a Fluids Analyst to own the fluids prediction lifecycle—from early modeling to flight‑ready validation. You will create 1D fluid network models, assess pressure drop, flow, and thermal performance, and link test data back to simulations.

You’ll collaborate across fluids design, propulsion, thermal, and test operations, setting sizing, objectives, and flight limits while iterating rapidly in a hands‑on role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of fluid system analysis experience for flight vehicles or high‑performance hardware.
  • Fundamentals in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
  • Experience building 1D fluid network or transient models with listed tools.
  • Proficiency with Python or MATLAB for model development and data reduction.
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident, or lawful status to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities
