True Anomaly is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer to build and sustain a flight‑qualified supplier base for electronics, PCBA, cabling, and power systems. You will lead qualification, audits, and continuous improvement while partnering with internal engineering and manufacturing to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets.

The role requires 4–7 years in supplier development or related fields, hands‑on IPC and MIL‑STD experience, and a track record with lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in supplier development, supplier quality, or manufacturing engineering in Aerospace/Defense/Medical/Automotive focusing on electronics or power systems.
• Hands‑on experience with IPC standards (A‑610, J‑STD‑001, 7711/7721) and MIL‑STD testing.
• Experience implementing lean methods with measurable results.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, PCBA layouts, BOMs, and test specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier development lifecycle for Electronics, PCBA, Cable Harnesses, Box Build, and Power Systems.
• Perform supplier qualification audits, capability and risk assessments, and FAI per IPC/MIL standards.
• Develop supplier quality programs with scorecards, clauses, and flow‑downs.
• Audit supplier sites for AS9100/IPC compliance and readiness for flight production.
• Drive RCA/CAPA to resolve electronics quality escapes and improve yields.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Mgmt to align with milestones.
