Job summary

True Anomaly seeks a Supplier Development Engineer to build and sustain a world-class supplier base delivering flight-quality hardware. You will lead qualification, continuous improvement, and supplier readiness across Propulsion, Structures, Power, Avionics, PCBA and Harnessing, coordinating with engineering and manufacturing to meet milestones.

You will implement lean initiatives, develop scorecards, and manage risk with 30–50% travel.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent with relevant experience in supplier development or quality.
• Experience with aerospace/defense supply chains and lean implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier development lifecycle across multiple domains and drive continuous improvement.
• Execute qualification audits, capability/risk assessments, and FAI.
• Develop supplier quality programs including scorecards and flow-down requirements.
• Conduct audits for AS9100/ITAR compliance and readiness for flight hardware production.
• Lead lean initiatives at supplier sites to improve quality and delivery.
• Manage supplier quality escapes using RCCA and corrective actions.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and develop dual-source strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering and program management to align with milestones.
• Travel to supplier sites 30–50% as needed.
