Job summary

True Anomaly seeks a Supplier Development Engineer to build and sustain a world-class supplier base for flight hardware. You will drive qualification, audits, and continuous improvement across electronics, PCBA, harnesses, and power systems.

You will collaborate with Electrical, Test, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management to ensure readiness for milestones and NPI support, with 30–50% travel.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of supplier development, supplier quality, or manufacturing engineering in Aerospace/Defense/Medical/Automotive with focus on electronics, PCBA, or power systems.
• Hands-on experience with IPC standards including IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-7711/7721, and IPC-A-620.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, BOMs, and electronics test specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier development lifecycle for Electronics, PCBA, Cable Harnesses, Box Build, and Power Systems.
• Execute supplier qualification including audits, capability/risk assessments, and FAI with IPC/MIL-STD focus.
• Develop supplier quality programs with scorecards, clauses, and flow-downs for POs.
• Conduct supplier audits to verify AS9100, IPC standards compliance, and readiness for flight production.
• Travel to supplier sites 30-50% as needed.
