Job summary

True Anomaly is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer to build and sustain a world-class supplier base capable of delivering flight-quality hardware for space systems. You will bridge internal engineering with supplier networks, driving lean principles and scalable processes from the ground up.

The role collaborates with Electrical, Test, Manufacturing, and Quality teams, supporting DFx assessments, NPI readiness, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 4-7 years in supplier development, supplier quality, or manufacturing engineering in Aerospace/Defense/Medical/Automotive with focus on electronics.
• Experience with IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-7711/7721, and IPC-A-620.
• Experience with MIL-STD testing protocols (MIL-STD-202, MIL-STD-883, or MIL-STD-1540/1541).
• Lean methodologies applied with measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier development lifecycle for electronics and power systems.
• Perform supplier audits, capability and risk assessments, and FAI.
• Develop supplier quality programs with scorecards, clauses, and flow-downs.
• Audit supplier sites for AS9100, IPC standards compliance, and flight readiness.
• Drive lean initiatives and supplier risk management; travel 30-50%.
