Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC seeks an Electrical Engineer focused on process development and electrical failure analysis for a line replaceable unit on our next generation spacecraft. You will lead RCAs, improve production processes, and coordinate between design, factory operations, quality, and vendors to scale from initial production to full-rate production.

The role requires designing and debugging electrical systems, developing test methods, and driving capacity expansion

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience with electro-optical hardware development and high-speed circuit design.
• 3+ years of experience with design or test of boards with microcontrollers, SOCs, or FPGAs.
• CAD skills to develop an integrated automation layout.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, develop, and improve production processes (assembly, integration, test) through a team of manufacturing engineers.
• Lead production electrical failure RCAs and troubleshooting; support ramp activities with EE analysis.
• Serve as a technical lead on electrical system; drive yield improvement through process changes.
• Develop standard rework procedures, test coverage improvements, and PCBA level DFM feedback.
• Investigate and introduce new manufacturing test technology to enhance production efficiency.
