Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, Electronics Packaging, Configuration Management to lead the EE CM lifecycle from ECAD library definitions to PLM release, driving standardization and data integrity.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to enforce CM standards, optimize workflows, and ensure accurate, traceable hardware configurations for space-grade programs based in Redmond, WA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of configuration management in EE/ECAD environments.
• Hands-on with PLM systems (Teamcenter preferred) and ECAD tools (Mentor/Siemens Xpedition).
• Experience with PCBA design-to-manufacturing workflows including BOM management and release.
• Experience authoring and governing engineering process documentation and standards.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with ability to drive standardization across projects.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End EE CM Process Ownership: manage the full EE configuration lifecycle.
• Cross-Project Process Standardization: define and enforce PCBA lifecycle standards and templates.
• Component Data Integrity: synchronize EDM and Teamcenter; manage AVL lookup and data integrity.
• Configuration Document Ownership: author and maintain CM standards for EE domain.
• Custom Component Release Governance: ensure traceability and release standards for custom modules.
• BOM Integrity Enforcement: establish single source of truth and automate BOM verification.
• Training & Enablement: build EE CM curriculum and onboarding materials.
