Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC seeks a Lead Manufacturing Engineer for the Optical Inter-Satellite Link program. You will own production development, introduction, and scaling of a key module for spaceflight, partnering with design, factory, and quality teams to ensure high quality at low cost.

You will drive capital investments, process improvements, and automation to increase capacity while meeting schedule and reliability requirements for a next-generation line-replaceable unit

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics or equivalent.
• 3+ years hardware design and validation experience.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
• Experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams from concept to production.
