Job summary

AV provides a full suite of space-qualified hardware trusted to fly in extreme environments across GEO, MEO, LEO and cislunar orbits. Our customers rely on AV when a mission can’t fail.

We are expanding to tackle large, first-of-its-kind projects and we need electrical engineers at all levels to join a team building Great Systems for orbit, laser communications, space electronics and sensors. The role focuses on designing high-speed digital electronics (ADC/DAC/FPGA/processors) and precision

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• 0–2 years of professional experience.
• Experience in design, analysis, integration and test of custom electronics.
• Proficiency with electrical design software and simulation tools such as Altium, SPICE, MATLAB, Simulink, HyperLynx and MS Office.
• Ability to conduct circuit analysis and simulation to optimize performance and reliability.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Design custom high-speed digital electronics including ADCs, DACs, FPGAs, processors, and communications drivers.
• Design, analyze and optimize analog circuits, including low-noise signal conditioning and power amplifiers.
• Provide expertise to product development and R&D efforts.
• Collaborate with peers, leads and managers to develop, review, and refine designs and analyses to meet program technical needs within defined time and budget constraints.
• Support electronics manufacturing and test as part of a broad-discipline program team.
