Job summary

AV provides space-qualified hardware to fly in extreme environments around GEO, MEO, LEO, and beyond. We seek electrical engineers at all levels to join a dynamic team delivering cutting-edge laser communications, space electronics, and sensors.

The role involves designing high-speed digital and analog electronics, analyzing circuits, and supporting manufacturing and test, with opportunities to work across multiple space systems.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering with 5 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience in design, analysis, integration, and test of custom electronics.
• Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools (Altium, SPICE, MATLAB, Simulink, HyperLynx, MS Office).
• Ability to conduct circuit analysis and simulation to optimize performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design custom high speed digital electronics including ADCs, DACs, FPGAs, processors, and communications drivers.
• Design and analyze analog circuits including low-noise signal conditioning and power amplifiers.
• Collaborate with peers to meet program technical needs within time and budget constraints.
• Support electronics manufacturing and test within a broad program team.
• All other duties as assigned.
