Job summary

AV is seeking electrical engineers at all levels to design and analyze space-qualified electronics for operation across GEO, MEO, LEO, and Cislunar orbits. The team focuses on laser communications, space electronics, and sensors, delivering reliable systems for extreme environments.

You will work on high-speed digital designs, analog conditioning, and testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet stringent program requirements and ITAR constraints, while contributing to

Qualifications

Master’s degree in electrical engineering with minimum 8 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience can be considered instead of a master’s degree
Experience in design, analysis, integration, and test of custom electronics
Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools such as Altium, SPICE, MATLAB, Simulink, HyperLynx, and MS Office
Ability to conduct circuit analysis and simulation to optimize performance and reliability

Responsibilities

Design custom high speed digital electronics including ADCs, DACs, FPGAs, processors, and communications drivers
Design and analyze analog circuits including low-noise signal conditioning and power amplifiers
Provide expertise to product development and R&D efforts
Collaborate with peers, leads, and managers to meet program needs within time and budget constraints
Support electronics manufacturing and test within a broad program team
Other duties as assigned
