Qualifications

  • BS degree in Physics, Electrical, Electronics, or Aerospace engineering with 2–5+ years of hands-on experience focusing on test and measurements (RF, EMI).
  • Experience as test conductor and test engineer.
  • Experience writing detailed operational procedures with technical, quality, and safety elements.
  • Proficiency in Python or another general programming language.
  • Strong task, project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with MS Office products.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as test engineer, test conductor, and task lead for EMI testing on ground support equipment and spacecraft payloads at Kennedy Space Center.
  • Lead readiness and integrity of measurement systems, manage operational risk, and communicate with customers.
  • Develop safe test methods, write procedures, set up tests, and prepare technical reports.
  • Develop test methods derived from MIL-STD 461 variants or program-specific methods.
  • Enable test system upgrades and participate in system modifications to boost capability.
  • Interface with technicians to install, configure, and operate test artifacts and equipment.
