Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is hiring a Graduate-level Intern for an opportunity located in either Colorado Springs, Colorado or El Segundo, California. The Space Control and Awareness Department (SCAD) seeks a new team member to support space mission analyses, architecture analysis, and sensor/ EW systems testing.

You’ll perform algorithm development, GNSS/ orbit analyses, and contribute to a framework of modeling, simulation and analysis tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completed and currently enrolled full-time in a graduate STEM program or senior class standing by internship start date.
• Minimum GPA requirement not stated in ad, but typically expected.
• Eligible for U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Algorithm assessment and development.
• Perform space protection and threat susceptibility, vulnerability analysis and resiliency assessment.
• Conduct orbit determination, target tracking, GNSS analysis and signal integrity studies.
• Utilize modeling, simulation and analysis tools (in-house, custom and government-provided).
• Receive training and mentorship during internship.
