Job summary

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company in Simsbury, CT is seeking an Electronics Development Engineer to support flight termination systems and tactical electronics for space and defense applications. You will collaborate with design, test, quality and production teams, perform product testing, validate requirements, and prepare test plans and reports for milestone reviews.

A BS in engineering and cross-functional leadership experience are preferred; 2–3 years in aerospace/defense is ideal,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical/Electronics or Computer preferred).
• 2–3 years of relevant cross-functional project leadership preferred, new grads considered.
• Aerospace/Defense product development experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Design, Test, Quality and Production groups.
• Perform product testing and verification of PCBA prototypes and environmental tests.
• Validate technical requirements and create test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Troubleshoot electronics hardware and test equipment; analyze data.
• Support milestones with technical content for reviews and customer communications.
