Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a data systems leader to certify the New Glenn program, ensuring data quality, sharing, maintenance, and customer engagement for government certifications. You will build relationships with US Space Force and NASA, coordinate across teams, and plan sophisticated products across technical domains while delivering results in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires strong communication, project management, and a solid background in product ownership, with a focus on data systems

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in engineering or an equivalent technical field is required.
  • Proven experience with integrated data environments or data systems.
  • Familiarity with AWS and UI/Application Development.
  • Expertise with collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
  • Experience with systems engineering tools (e.g., DOORS), configuration management tools (e.g., Windchill), and secure data-sharing platforms.
  • Experience with multi-dimensional data records for manufacturing, quality, configuration management, calibration records, work procedures, master equipment lists, etc.
  • Demonstrate a track record of enforcing data-marking best practices.
  • Experience with data platform-specific customer training and engagement metrics.
  • Strong background in project management and resource planning.
  • Experience with customer certification or mission assurance practices.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Possess excellent judgment and be comfortable making high-quality and high-velocity decisions.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong background in product ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the integrated data systems solution required to certify the program.
  • Provide leadership to ensure data quality, sharing, maintenance, and customer engagement for required certifications.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with program partners and government agencies.
  • Plan and deliver results across multiple technical areas in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate results effectively to stakeholders, including customers and internal teams.
