Job summary

York Space Systems seeks a Program Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to shield space systems, shape requirements, and lead penetration testing across spacecraft programs in a high-stakes national security context. You will drive threat-informed analysis and integrate security throughout the system lifecycle with on-site work at Greenwood Village and Aurora, CO.

Active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, engineering, CS or related STEM field.
• 3+ years of Information Assurance or Cybersecurity experience.
• Active or in-progress CEH and CompTIA PenTest+ certifications.
• U.S. Citizenship and TS-SCI clearance.
• Willingness to work full time on site at Greenwood Village, CO and Aurora, CO.

Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity focused systems engineering analysis and documentation for A&A activities.
• Identify critical system risks, evaluate reverse engineering threats, and propose countermeasures.
• Conduct penetration testing, analyze findings, and prepare actionable reports.
• Review and maintain cybersecurity test plans to ensure accreditation alignment.
• Verify cybersecurity compliance at component and system levels.
• Collaborate on threat assessments and derive security requirements across hardware and software.
• Apply cybersecurity overlays into system architectures and evaluate design impacts.
• Support Certification and Accreditation throughout the program lifecycle.
• Contribute to cryptographic system security engineering tasks.
• Participate in technical discussions and design reviews to ensure resiliency.
