Job summary

Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- DoD Secret security clearance required at time of hire
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related STEM field plus 5+ years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree plus 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Rust and C/C++ software development
- Experience developing software on embedded platforms
- Experience working in Agile software development environments
- Experience leading or supporting the software development process
- Expertise applying technical standards and software engineering methodologies to complex technical challenges
- Experience integrating, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining software applications or embedded software solutions
- Experience identifying opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for next-generation cryptographic products.
- Develop software solutions for Space and Embedded Crypto applications.
- Lead software development activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop embedded software using Rust and C/C++.
- Apply technical standards, software engineering methodologies, and development best practices to solve complex technical challenges.
- Integrate software solutions and troubleshoot software and embedded platform issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout design, development, integration, and test activities.
- Provide technical leadership and support effective software development practices across the team.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI technologies to software engineering processes for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Evaluate technology trends and champion relevant software development and process improvements.
- Develop software within Agile development environments.
