Job summary

Ramon.Space is seeking an experienced FPGA Engineer to lead the development of space connectivity technology in the South Denver area. You will design and implement high-speed processing subsystems on SoC FPGAs and contribute to robust digital modem architectures for satellite communications.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, handle verification and design decisions, and engage in an environment that values innovation, collaboration, and growth.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with emphasis on signal processing.
• 4+ years of FPGA design experience.
• Experience with SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL.

Responsibilities

• Design and manufacture systems including ICs and SoC type FPGA's.
• Design and implement high-speed communication processing subsystems.
• Implement DSP, Security, and/or Networking algorithms on SoC type FPGAs.
• Design for highly robust, distributed systems with emphasis on managing physical effects that originate from the harsh space environment.
• Key contributor to Digital, Modem architecture and design.
• Lead technical reviews with key stakeholders.
• Work closely within a multi-disciplinary team to lead high-impact technical decisions about system design, implementation, and verification.
