Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
  • 10+ years experience designing wireless baseband modems with FPGA.
  • Proficient in HDL languages (Verilog/SystemVerilog; VHDL).
  • Experience with FPGA toolchains, timing closure, and power analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Own FPGA-based modem chains from architecture to lab deployment.
  • Define micro-architecture for high-rate FPGA blocks and implement with Verilog/SystemVerilog.
  • Develop self-checking verification environments using golden models.
  • Create synthesis and place-and-route scripts with timing and constraints.
  • Define interfaces and test hooks for HW/SW integration.
  • Conduct design reviews and collaborate across HW, FW/SW teams.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote FPGA best practices.
