Job summary

Northwood Space in Torrance is seeking an FPGA Engineer to design, implement, and test FPGA blocks for high-rate data processing in our antenna systems. You will contribute to resilient communication links and work on routing, signaling, and DSP within FPGA blocks.

This role requires 2–4+ years of experience, strong Verilog/SystemVerilog skills, and Python experience. Onsite is preferred, but remote work with some travel to the office is acceptable, with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of professional FPGA/embedded/electrical experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Expert in Verilog and SystemVerilog.
• Experience with Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test FPGA networking and DSP blocks for high-rate data processing.
• Lead multidisciplinary projects from initial design to shipment and operations.
• Drive system architectures, analyze trades, and scope system requirements.
• Analyze field data to diagnose issues and feedback for product improvements.
