Job summary

Astranis, a California-based satellite company, offers a Winter 2027 CAD Engineer/Librarian Intern role. You’ll model components, maintain the design library, and document considerate design practices for spaceflight hardware.

You are currently pursuing a BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering (or equivalent). SolidWorks and GD&T experience are valued, and internships run twelve weeks as hourly roles with potential Associate Engineer advancement.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. in mechanical, aerospace, or equivalent technical degree.
• Passion for hardware development in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Experience with SolidWorks.
• Experience with GD&T and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Model and draw components, structures, and manifolds for spacecraft.
• Maintain and improve design library and data infrastructure.
• Document considerate design practices for efficient design.
