Zusammenfassung

Blue Origin LLC seeks a CAD Drafter III to develop, maintain, and release engineering drawings and 3D models using Creo Parametric 12 and Windchill PLM. You will own complex design tasks across mechanical, structural, and fluid disciplines for ground support equipment supporting New Glenn launch operations.

The role requires applying ASME standards, MB D datasets, and ECRs, while mentoring junior drafters and advancing AI-assisted design tools to improve quality and efficiency.

Qualifikationen

• AS or BS degree in mechanical/aerospace or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a technical design role.
• Proficient with Creo Parametric and Windchill PLM.
• Experience creating fabrication/installation drawings for complex assemblies.
• Knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.100/Y14.5.

Aufgaben

• Own complex design tasks using Creo Parametric and Windchill.
• Develop and maintain advanced MB D datasets and promote MBD adoption.
• Lead mechanical/structural design including steel frameworks and assemblies.
• Lead fluid systems and electrical routing using Creo extensions.
• Author Engineering Change Requests and Change Notices in Windchill.
• Mentor junior drafters and support program schedules/budgets.
