Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Space-Based Interceptor Test Integration and Operations Engineering Lead to guide end-to-end system integration and testing for SBI. You will advise on design, verification, and mission assurance to ensure mission success for space, ground, and user segments.

Requires 8+ years in T&E or space systems, DoDI processes familiarity, and active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years in Test & Evaluation or space systems operations within US government or aerospace.
• Familiarity with DoDI Test and Evaluation processes and TEMP/SEMP development.
• Experience with test planning, execution, and analysis for government evaluations.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical teams and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end system integration and test activities across space, ground, and user segments.
• Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and validation approaches for key interfaces.
• Maintain requirements verification and traceability from concept through operation.
• Flow down system requirements and manage ICDs; use models and testbeds for verification.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary integration via SIPs, STIPs, and SEPs.
• Collaborate with spacecraft, flight software, and ground teams for seamless integration.
• Conduct developmental and operational test campaigns and analyze results.
• Support Agile/DevSecOps and CI/CD in cloud environments.
