Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Redmond, WA is seeking a Power DVT Engineer to own the complete design verification lifecycle for power electronics destined for Low Earth Orbit.

You will develop test strategies, execute validation campaigns, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with power design, SI/PI, FPGA, firmware, and system integration teams to ensure flight-ready hardware.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hardware design and validation experience
• Experience developing DVPs and functional test procedures
• Experience building test automation frameworks
• Experience cross-functional product development from concept to production
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Hands-on experience testing power electronics and high-speed electrical systems
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive Design Verification Plans with cross-functional teams
• Create test methodologies and fixtures; maintain test scripts
• Use simulations to analyze performance and identify failure modes
• Own test procedures and execute system and board-level plans
• Troubleshoot electrical failures and implement fixes
• Lead small DVT groups and coordinate with stakeholders
• Collect and analyze test data; document results
