Job summary

Amazon Leo is building a low Earth orbit satellite network to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity globally. As a Sr.

Power DVT Engineer, you will own the complete design verification lifecycle for power electronics destined for LEO, developing test strategies, executing validation campaigns, and coordinating with power design, SI/PI, FPGA, firmware, and system teams. You will mentor engineers and establish scalable test methodologies to accelerate mission readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems.
• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures.
• Experience building test automation frameworks and tools.
• Experience with cross-functional product development from concept to production.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on experience testing power electronics and high-speed electrical systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design Verification Planning: Develop Design Verification Plans with power design, SI/PI, and system integration teams.
• Test Development & Execution: Create test methodologies and fixtures, develop test scripts with hardware and firmware engineers.
• Technical Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot electrical failures and develop cost-effective fixes addressing root causes.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Guide junior engineers, lead small DVT teams, coordinate reviews and data reviews.
• Data Analysis & Documentation: Collect data, analyze results, and coordinate testing activities with cross-functional teams.
