Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Space Architectures Systems Engineer (Sr. Project Engineer – Enterprise Systems Engineering) to be embedded with our customer, supporting high-level architecture design and decision making with DCS and other government entities. On-site work at Schriever SFB, CO is required.

The role emphasizes program-wide systems engineering, collaboration with government teams, and serving as a technical authority in strategic planning and architecture discussions.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Math, or Science degree from a recognized higher education institution.
• 12+ years of professional experience in space vehicle systems.
• Knowledge/experience in development of space systems and payloads.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships.
• Effective oral and written communication with Aerospace, government, and contractor personnel.
• Some travel is required.
• Must have Top Secret/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Support MDA Space Capabilities office (DCS) systems engineering across programs.
• Collaborate with government teams, including other FFRDC/UARC/SETA personnel, for mission success.
• Interface with other government entities in cooperative design and architecture efforts.
• Represent Aerospace as a technical authority in high-level planning and decisions.
