Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, CA is seeking an experienced Engineering Specialist to lead architecture studies of complex space system concepts and to mentor junior staff. This in-person role will collaborate with Aerospace program offices, customers, and contractors to elicit needs, define system capabilities, and communicate results in briefings and formal reports.

The position requires a TS/SCI clearance, 8+ years in space/defense engineering, and strong MBSE/system-architecture

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering, science, or related technical field.
• 8+ years of engineering experience in the space, intelligence, and/or defense domains.
• Proficiency in system or enterprise architecture, MBSE, and design.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to brief and report findings.
• Willing to travel 5-10% domestically and internationally.
• U.S. citizenship with TS/SCI security clearance.
