Job summary

Scale AI seeks an experienced Deployment Strategist to bridge cutting-edge AI research and production in space operations. You will lead high-stakes SSC deployments, from defining requirements to scaling pilots into enterprise programs.

You will own the account lifecycle, secure executive sponsorship, and partner with prime integrators to drive long-term value in the Space Force programs. This is a high-impact leadership role in a critical growth area.

Qualifications

• 7+ years across space operations, government acquisitions, complex enterprise IT sales, or defense business development.
• Proven track record of closing multi-year deals and getting a line item into the budget.
• Deep understanding of Space Force modernization priorities and where AI/ML, autonomy apply.
• Ability to move technology from demo to deployed capability inside a major PEO or program office.
• Established relationships across SSC and the Space Force enterprise; connections with space primes.
• Active Secret clearance; TS/SCI strongly preferred.
• BS/BA required; technical degree or MBA preferred.
• Based in the Los Angeles area; on-site 3 days a week near SSC Los Angeles AFB.
• Willingness to travel 20-30%.

Responsibilities

• Full-Spectrum Capture & Quota Ownership: Carry and exceed a multi-million dollar annual revenue quota and own daily lifecycle from opportunity to contract award.
• Draft white papers and SBIR/OTA responses; lead complex proposal development and deal architecture.
• Lead the account delivery with Engagement Managers, Technical PMs, Engineers, and Product to enable mission success.
• Own long-term account strategy across SSC's PEOs; secure follow-on funding and build enterprise-scale deployments.
• Co-design Agentic AI workflows with technical teams and operators to translate mission problems into technical requirements.
• Partner with Scale's Partners Managers to negotiate with Tier 1 Systems Integrators and space primes for subcontracting.
