Moog's Space Actuation team in East Aurora, NY is recruiting a Design Engineer to join the dynamic team, reporting to the Sr. Mechanical Design Engineering Manager.

This onsite role in Buffalo, NY requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 3 years of design engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace. You will translate requirements into computer models and drawings, oversee design delivery, ensure BOM accuracy, and work with systems,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 3 years of design engineering experience in a complex manufacturing environment; aerospace experience preferred.
• Deep knowledge of engineering principles, documentation standards, and drafting practices.
• Experience communicating with customers and vendors and with technical communities.

Responsibilities

• Translating complex project requirements into computer models, layouts, and drawings.
• Overseeing technical design, implementation, or delivery of projects, processes, or programs.
• Contributing to a cost-effective design by collaborating with systems, project, and quality teams.
• Creating and checking detailed drawings and ensuring BOM accuracy.
• Ensuring design integrity via proportionality, sizing, and tolerance checks.
