Expect to perform a range of massage and skin-care services, consult guests, and uphold brand standards while supporting smooth spa operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a licensed massage therapist or esthetician in a luxury spa or hospitality setting.
• Current state or local license/certification in massage therapy and/or aesthetics (as applicable).
• Proficient in a variety of massage techniques (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, prenatal) and/or skin care treatments.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications related to spa treatments.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to create a welcoming and calming environment.
• Excellent communication skills to understand guest needs and explain services or products clearly.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
• Comfortable using spa scheduling and POS systems (SpaSoft or similar systems preferred).
• Professional appearance, demeanor, and grooming standards consistent with luxury hospitality.
• All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of treatment rooms, equipment, and work areas before and after each service.
• Prepare treatment rooms with necessary supplies, linens, and products before guest arrival.
• Ensure guest comfort and satisfaction by providing attentive and personalized service.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and guest preferences.
• Always uphold confidentiality and professionalism, respecting guests’ privacy and boundaries.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations in accordance with spa policies and local laws.
• Attend all required training sessions and departmental meetings.
• Support spa operations by assisting with opening and closing duties as needed.
• Communicate effectively with Spa coordinator and other team members to ensure seamless guest flow.
• Promote wellness and relaxation, contributing to a tranquil and welcoming spa environment.
• Report any maintenance issues or guest concerns to the Spa Manager promptly.

JOB OVERVIEW:

Under the general guidance of the Spa Manager, the Spa Therapist is responsible for delivering exceptional spa treatments and personalized guest service.
