Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group in Washington, DC is seeking a Spa Receptionist to greet guests, manage reservations, and provide accurate information on treatments. You will uphold a welcoming atmosphere and support front-desk operations in a fast-paced spa environment.

This role requires exceptional customer service, strong communication, and multitasking abilities. Weekend/holiday shifts may be required, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within SHG.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a spa, salon, or wellness environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with spa booking software and POS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and maintain a welcoming, professional environment.
• Manage spa reservations, including scheduling, confirmations, and changes.
• Answer calls, emails, and inquiries related to spa services, pricing, and availability.
• Provide accurate information on treatments, therapists, and spa policies to guests.
• Process payments, handle billing inquiries, and maintain client records using spa management software.
• Promote and upsell spa services, packages, and retail products.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization in reception and retail areas.
• Coordinate with spa therapists and management to ensure a seamless guest experience.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a spa, salon, or wellness environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with spa booking software and point-of-sale systems is preferred.

KNO WLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, professional, and polished demeanor.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and comfort with handling cash and electronic payments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and booking/reservation platforms.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as needed.
