Job summary

Four Seasons Westlake Village is seeking a Spa Assistant Manager to lead the Spa Department, overseeing Therapists, Estheticians, Attendants and Receptionists.

You will manage operations, select staff, control inventory, coordinate group bookings and align spa services with hotel goals, while driving guest wellbeing and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Demonstrates superior knowledge of spa, wellbeing and treatments.
• Ability to operate Spa computer systems.
• Knowledge of treatments offered by Therapists, Estheticians and Nail Techs.
• Strong communication with customers, vendors, employees and coworkers.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in luxury Spa or related field.
• Spa retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all Spa/Salon areas (Front Desk, Fitness Facilities, Locker Room, Relaxation Lounge, Treatment Rooms and Retail).
• Interview and select job applicants and supervise, discipline, and evaluate spa staff.
• Administer goods, requisitions, inventories, and budgeted usage of products.
• Oversee equipment operation and cleanliness across spa areas; coordinate with Housekeeping, Laundry, and Engineering.
• Integrate Spa with hotel operations and follow spa trends.
• Lead staff meetings to communicate policies and opportunities.
• Create retail purchase orders and manage monthly/quarterly inventories.
• Coordinate group bookings and conduct on-site spa tours for planners.
• Assist all Spa/Salon departments with internal standards testing.
