Job summary

The FAENA Movement invites an Assistant Spa Manager in Miami Beach to oversee daily spa operations, training, scheduling, payroll and facilities. Lead the team to achieve peak guest satisfaction and revenue goals within Forbes 5-Star standards.

You will drive spa revenue, coordinate events, manage inventories, and mentor staff to uphold exceptional service. A dynamic schedule supports events, groups, and spa operations.

Responsibilities

• Plans and directs the spa operation to meet daily needs.
• Ensures Forbes 5-Star Spa Standards are followed.
• Tracks staff schedules to optimize capacity, revenue and profits.
• Attends morning meetings and shares revenue figures with department heads.
• Conducts daily briefings with the spa team on guests and targets.
• Continuously trains reception staff in bookings, standards, etiquette and tools.
• Supports retail with product knowledge and team training.
• Maintains impeccable spa cleanliness and hygiene.
• Oversees guest service via voice and email responses.
• Coordinates spa events: venues, invoices, budgets, suppliers.
• Understands budgets, P&L and payroll progress to assist financial goals.
• Helps manage supplies and inventories within budget.
• Drives revenue through scheduling and yield management.
• Maximizes sales by upselling with Reservations Team.
• Exceeds personal and team sales targets set by the Spa Director.
• Creates new initiatives in retail/booking incentives.
• Maintains stock control with monthly inventory; monitors theft.
• Sets a positive example for guest relations.
• Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on products.
• Empowers employees to deliver excellent service.
• Emphasizes guest satisfaction in meetings and continuous improvement.
• Observes service behaviors and provides feedback.
• Participates in employee recognition program.
• Reviews comment cards and guest satisfaction with staff.
• Ensures property policies are administered fairly; disciplinary procedures documented.
• Supports supervisor by handling reception and reservation duties as needed.
• Maintains well merchandised, clean spa and reception areas.
• Demonstrates professionalism: punctuality, appearance, demeanor.
• Works flexible schedule; evenings, weekends as needed.
