Job summary

Equinox is seeking an energetic Spa Manager on Duty to join our team. You will welcome guests, orient them to the spa facilities, and deliver personal guest service, while learning the Spa Coordinator role for career growth.

Under the supervision of the Spa leadership, you will support daily spa operations, help drive service and product sales, maintain a pristine environment, and assist with staff scheduling and onboarding as well as coordinating outreach events within the club.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Massage Therapy or Esthetics License.
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly personality.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

We are looking for an energetic, creative, and enthusiasticSpa Manager on Duty to join the Equinox team! This is a great position for a candidate looking to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic organization.

The Spa Manager on Duty is responsible to help ensure a memorable experience for our Spa guests. This includes greeting guests as they enter the facilities, orientating guests to the spa facilities, and providing personal guest service. The MOD role is a learning role, wherein we are educating and preparing you for the Spa Coordinator role:

• Under the direction of Manager,support withdaily activityof Spa Operation
• Contribute towards the sales goals of the spa by increasing product and service sales
• Provide superior customer service to all members, prospects and guests
• Maintain cleanliness and esthetic appeal of The Spa
• Able to work opening/closing shifts, work5days at6 hourshifts(30 hours a week)minimum
• Assists day-to-day staffing andbasic memberissues relating to Spa
• Answer emails, phone calls and voicemails in a timely and professional manner
• Create and maintain professional business relationships with members and Spa guests
• Assist with managing, maintaining, and restocking of Spa inventoryn < li>Assist with training and onboardingfor new staff members li>n < li>Help create and manage staff schedules for Spa department li>n < li>Helprunoutreachevents and programs withinclubto promote performance results li>n < li>Professionally and courteously communicate daily with Maintenance staff regarding Spa cleanliness li>n < li>Appropriately enforce policies and elevate to Spa Manager when required li>n < li>Other responsibilities as assigned li>n

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have the following experience, skills, and education:

• Must possess a valid Massage Therapy or Esthetics License
• Enthusiasm and excellent customer service skills
• Must enjoy working with people with a friendly and outgoing personality
• Able to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and money handling skills
• Must be a team player

Pay Transparency: $44.00-64 per session based on performance & tier level; $19.10/hour (non-session work).

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have the following experience, skills, and education:

• 1-2 years of customer service experience
• Minimum 3 days per week commitment required
• Excellent organizational, communication, problem solving, and computer skills
• Must be enthusiastic, upbeat, outgoing, personable, passionate and knowledgeable about the spa industry
• Must be able to multi-task
• Be able to utilize new techniques and ideas
