Job Summary:

The Spa Manager at Black Desert Resort is responsible for leading spa operations, guest experiences, and team development while ensuring efficiency and adherence to luxury service standards. Reporting to the Director of Spa, this role oversees daily spa activities, staff scheduling, and revenue growth while maintaining a tranquil and high-end spa environment.

Job Specifications:

Onsite: Black Desert ResortShift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-TimePay Rate: $58,000 - $65,000/yr. This is the pay rate we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily spa operations, ensuring a seamless and relaxing guest experience.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor spa therapists, estheticians, spa attendants, and spa concierge to uphold excellence.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Spa to develop spa programs, promotions, and wellness initiatives that enhance guest engagement and revenue.
  • Maintain spa cleanliness, ambiance, and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Manage staff schedules, payroll, and performance evaluations to optimize service efficiency.
  • Monitor and control inventory, ordering spa products and supplies as needed.
  • Ensure all spa treatments and services align with holistic wellness principles and resort standards.
  • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and conflict resolution with professionalism.
  • Analyze sales and performance data, implementing strategies to improve guest retention and revenue growth.
  • Represent The Spa at Black Desert Resort at resort meetings and wellness initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of spa management experience in a luxury spa or resort setting.
  • Strong knowledge of spa treatments, wellness programs, and holistic therapies.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong guest service and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Experience with spa software, scheduling platforms, and POS systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Licensed in massage therapy, esthetics, or a related wellness profession is a plus.
