Position Summary

The Spa Manager is responsible for all aspects of daily operations, focusing on achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service. The role involves building and retaining clientele and following an aggressive spa profit plan.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the achievement of sales goals
• Oversee and manage the daily operations of a busy spa
• Spend approximately 70% of time working face-to-face with clients
• Meet business objectives and profitability goals
• Monitor payroll and expenditures
• Achieve the spa profit plan successfully
• Review financial data
• Prepare management reports
• Work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Perform administrative functions accurately and timely
• Motivate staff to achieve sales goals
• Create and maintain a relaxed atmosphere for clients
• Uphold the highest level of customer service

Note: The manager is considered the best sales person on the team.

Ideal Candidate Requirements

• 5–15 years of managerial experience in a spa, hotel, or health/beauty spa environment
• At least 5 years of customer service experience
• Experience managing teams of 10 or more
• High enthusiasm and ability to sell concepts and ideas
• Proven success in revenue achievement and expense management
• Ability to coach, mentor, and discipline staff effectively
• Experience in budget development and financial analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High standards in ethics, service, and image
