Job summary

Spavia SouthPark in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Designated Manager to lead our luxury spa team, ensure five-star guest experiences, and elevate service standards in a calm, wellness-focused environment. This is a salaried leadership role with evening, weekend, and holiday availability, plus opening/closing responsibilities.

You will build weekly schedules, drive membership growth and retail performance, deliver weekly sales dashboards, and mentor staff to maintain peak performance and a friendly,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management/supervisory experience in spa, beauty, fitness, or hospitality.
• Proven sales success with memberships, retail add-ons, and promotions.
• Strong scheduling, coaching, and communication skills; handles pressure well.
• Proficient with technology (POS/booking systems); organized and detail oriented.
• Calm, caring energy and passion for helping guests.

Responsibilities

• Team Management: recruit/interview with ownership; build weekly schedules; maximize peak-time coverage.
• Sales Leadership: set monthly goals, run daily huddles, coach membership and promos.
• Reporting & Accountability: deliver weekly dashboards, payroll checks, and monthly results.
• Guest Experience & Recovery: model guest journey, resolve issues, protect NPS/reviews.
• Compliance & Cleanliness: maintain clean rooms/retreat areas; ensure licenses/regulations; inspection-ready.
• Inventory & Vendors: track back-bar and retail, manage pars and shrink.
• Community & Marketing Support: manage school/outreach, attend job fairs, support requests.

What You'll Do
