Job summary

Esther’s Wellhouse seeks a friendly Spa Host to welcome guests, manage front desk operations, and assist with scheduling from arrival to departure.

You will handle check-ins, respond to inquiries, process payments, and maintain a clean, organized spa environment while coordinating with service providers throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Experience in spa services or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, warm, and professional demeanor.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a calm spa environment.
• Comfortable using scheduling systems and basic computer programs.
• Ability to work independently and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests upon arrival, check-in, and orient them to the spa.
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide service information.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage guest appointments with an accurate daily schedule.
• Process payments for services, retail, and gift cards with confidentiality.
• Manage the assigned cash drawer and balance at shift end.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk and guest areas.
• Restock amenities and retail displays, support laundry needs, prep spaces.
• Communicate guest needs and updates with service providers and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Spa Host serves as the welcoming presence of Esther’s Wellhouse, ensuring guests feel comfortable, informed, and cared for from arrival through departure while maintaining a clean, organized, and well-prepared spa environment. This guest-facing role manages front desk operations, assists with scheduling, supports housekeeping and laundry needs, and helps service providers throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests upon arrival, assist with check-in and intake forms, and orient them to the spa environment.
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information about services and offerings.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage guest appointments while maintaining an accurate daily schedule.
• Process payments for services, retail, and gift cards while maintaining confidentiality and accurate records.
• Manage the assigned cash drawer, balancing and reconciling it at the end of each shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and guest areas.
• Restock amenities and retail displays, support laundry needs, and assist with basic spa and treatment room readiness.
• Communicate guest needs and schedule updates with service providers and notify management of any concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
