Job summary

Hotel Ivy, part of the HEI Hotels & Resorts portfolio in downtown Minneapolis, seeks a Spa Attendant to greet guests, book treatments, and support spa operations. The role requires strong guest service, cash handling, and accurate computer use to process services and payments.

The position involves opening/closing shifts, weekend availability, and cross-training to support spa operations in front and back of house. Experience with spa software is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with Spa software; Book4Time knowledge preferred.
• Ability to effectively deal with customers with patience, tact and diplomacy.
• Ability to stand and move throughout spa and perform essential functions.
• Ability to input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and guests.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and check them in for services.
• Input treatment details into the computer system and promote spa programs.
• Handle cash, balance a house bank, and post charges to rooms.
• Answer calls promptly and relay messages to guests.
• Close guest accounts at checkout and address any guest dissatisfaction.
