Job summary

Peregrine Yountville Management LLC is seeking a guest-focused Spa Associate to support front-desk operations, booking appointments, and processing payments. You will assist guests with treatments, help with retail selections, and maintain the spa environment to ensure a welcoming experience.

Expect flexibility with hours and a pay range that reflects tips and service charges. Prior spa or retail experience is preferred, with a strong emphasis on professional appearance and courteous service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage spa check-in/out processes.
• Assist guests with selecting treatments and scheduling appointments.
• Process transactions for events, fees, dues, and memberships.
• Maintain inventory and use spa software.
• Provide accurate information about services, products, and procedures.
• Support retail area and upsell where appropriate.
• Ensure spa facilities are clean, orderly and properly opened/closed.
• Monitor staff and appointments to maintain efficiency.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Position Summary - Pay Range $ 20.00 + tips/service charge/gratuities

Essential Functions

• Must adhere to the company’s Service culture - 4 Keys to creating guests for life.
• Must participate in all hotel required meetings and trainings.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag.
• Check guests and members in and out: assist with locker areas when needed.
• Process transactions for all events, guest fees, membership fees, dues, etc.
• Handle all administrative functions of the spa including: using Spa software, maintaining inventory of supplies, answering telephones, making appointments, and answering questions.
• Must be the initial and complete source of information regarding what is available at the Spa and all procedures to ensure guest comfort (i.e. treatments, equipment and products).
• Must be able to assist guests in the retail area.
• Arrange for all spa appointments for ala carte services/activities and packages.
• Must monitor appointments and ensure proper staffing to maintain sense of order and efficiency.
• Assist guests and members with selecting appropriate treatments.
• Ensure facility is prepared for proper opening and closing each day.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facilities including ensuring facility/amenities are in proper working order.
• Provide Spa tours as necessary.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
• Abide by all hotel policies and safety rules.

Qualifications

• 1-year experience in a spa or related field preferred.
• 1-year retail experience preferred.

Work Conditions and Schedule

• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Medium work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Must be able to bend, stoop or reach as needed.
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
